I am an artist from Sussex, currently studying at the Chelsea College of Art, UAL.
By considering my use of the body, both in how it encounters works of art and how it may be used directly as one, I dissect the intersectional histories of oppression and their positions in determining the body’s relationship to politics. I choose material based on their malleable qualities, societal connotations and political positions, my use of textiles directly reflects its gendered associations and unstable history of what is considered art.
Recognising art and community’s socio-political potential, I spend time organising educational and social events such as reading groups and workshops, for UAL's Intersectional Feminism Society, of which I am the president of.
